Long-term lay guest

There is currently an opportunity for a long-term volunteer who wishes to assist with running of our Kusala House lay guest facility, ideally for a commitment of 6 to 12 months. Applicants need to be male, fluent in English, have residency in the UK, and be comfortably familiar with Theravada Buddhist practice. A willingness to help with driving would be welcome though not a necessity.

Someone taking up this voluntary role would join in the monastic routine (which includes keeping the 8 precepts and partaking of the 2 daily meals) and have the opportunity to participate in retreats and daily meditations. They would be accommodated in a single room.
