Vesak Celebration - 11th May 2025

We will mark our annual Vesak Observance (Visakha Puja) on Sunday 11th May.
Guests are welcome to arrive from 9 am onwards.
Events beginning around 10 am.
Please pay particular attention to guidance given by the parking stewards. 

PROGRAMME:


09:00 am Guests start arriving.
Offerings can be left in the Dhamma Hall
Cooked food offerings in kitchen at No.2

10:15 am Bell ringing. Assemble in the Dhamma Hall

10:30 am Precept Ceremony, Paritta Chanting, Dhamma Talk

11:00 am Offering of dry goods
Formal meal offering & Silent meditation
Chanting Anumodana

11:15 am Rice pindapat

11:45 am Sangha receive their meal

12:00 pm Shared meal for all

13:30 pm Circumambulation of the Dhamma Hall with Chanting
Gathering and starting in Memorial Garden

17:00 pm Tea with a monk at Kusala House

19:00 pm Public Puja, Meditation & Dhamma talk

• To avoid traffic congestion, we recommend that you do NOT approach the monastery from Bolam Lake direction i.e approach from A696. Ensure that you always close the gate.
