Today, Friday 25th, is the New Moon day for the month of July 2025.
The next Uposatha Day will be a Full Moon, and falls on Saturday, 9th August, 2025.
Current residents at the monastery are: Luang Por Munindo, Ajahn Punnyo, Tan Siri, Tan Sucinno and Samanera Dhiracitto.
The latest talks given by Luang Por Munindo were titled, Seeing Suffering As A Signpost, and Are These Teachings Relevant?
The visit from Luang Por Pasanno and Tan Cittapalo earlier this month went smoothly. Now Luang Por has returned to Amaravati Monastery in Hertfordshire where he is expecting to spend the Rains Retreat.
Tan Sucinno led a One Day Retreat on 19th July.
Sadly, our much appreciated Kitchen Manager, Jacob, was drawn away by other obligations. If there is anyone interested in replacing him, please see the announcement under News.

Visiting:
Ajahn Ahimsako is due to spend almost a week with us from 31st July.
We also look forward to hosting Tan Jutipannyo from 28th August to 2nd September, and Luang Por Sucitto from the 15th to 21st September.
Harnham Buddhist Monastery Trust AGM:
This AGM meeting will take place on Saturday 26th July.
Lay Community Retreats:
One Day Retreats are scheduled for 3rd August, and 13th September.
The usual start time is 9.30 am. No booking required.
