LOOKING FORWARD:
One-Day Meditation Retreat:
Ajahn Nyanarato has accepted an invitation to visit us before he goes to Japan. During his stay he will lead a non-residential one-day meditation retreat on Saturday 18th April. Although simply turning up on the day is also OK, on this occasion it could be helpful to know how many might wish to participate. If you intend to be here, please email sangha@ratanagiri.org.uk with a simple message.
Introduction to Meditation:
As usual on the first Sunday of each month, at Kusala House, there will be a session of guided meditation led by one of our lay community. The session starts at 5.30 pm and participants are asked to arrive ten minutes beforehand. No booking required.
Time Change:
On Sunday 29th March, in the UK, clocks go forward one hour.
This means our midday meal bell will be rung at 11.15 am for the meal at 11.30 am.
Note, on Sundays the gathering begins at 11 am.
Message particularly for the Thai community:
Generally, on each first Sunday of the month, we are planning to meet together in the Dhamma Hall at 11.15 am for Precepts, Parittas and a short talk. The next such gathering is scheduled for Sunday 5th April.
See our on-line calendar for changes e.g. this event will probably not take place in the month of May this year.
Lake Work Days 2026:
We aim to have Lake Work Days most months this year (between April and November), starting 4th April. See our on-line calendar for future dates.
Feel free to simply turn up at 8.30 am at the lake with suitable footwear and work clothes. Or if you would like more information, contact:
