Today, Tuesday 21st, is the New Moon day for the month of March 2023. The next Uposatha Day will be the Full Moon which falls on Wednesday, 5th April, 2023.
The community at Aruna Ratanagiri Buddhist Monastery is presently still on our annual three month Winter Retreat. The retreat ends on 31st March.
The latest talk given at Aruna Ratanagiri by Luang Por Munindo was titled, Applied Compassion.
Please note, British Summer Time starts on Sunday 26th March. The mealtime bell will be at 11:15 am on most days and at 11 am on Sundays.
On 30th March, Ajahn Kevali, abbot of Wat Pah Nanachat, arrives to stay with us for most of this year.
From the 1st April, Guided Meditation will be given during Saturday Evening Puja.
From Sunday, 2nd April the Beginners' Meditation Class will take place at Kusala house, starting at 5:30 pm.
On Saturday 8th April there will be a Lake Work Day. All welcome.
From Sunday 9th April the 5 pm tea and Q&A session with a bhikkhu will resume at Kusala House.
On Sunday 16th April there will be a public celebration of the Songkran festival starting at 10 am.
