The Magga Bhavaka Trustees 

In 1984 the lay supporters of Aruna Ratanagiri: Harnham Buddhist Monastery formed a charitable trust, the Magga Bhavaka Trust, as the body owning and managing the material assets of the monastery.

This Trust is closely associated with, but constitutionally independent of, the other Trusts in the UK which provide the same role for the other Western monasteries of this tradition.

Meetings are held approximately every four months and are open to who ever wishes to attend. There are eight trustees with a range of backgrounds and experience and are representative of different ethnic and geological groups of supporters. Trust meetings operate by consensus and are quorate with the attendance of at least four of the trustees.
