Ajahn Munindo
(Abbot)
Bhikkhu Munindo was born in Te Awamutu, New Zealand in 1951. He received bhikkhu ordination (upasampadā) first under the Venerable Somdet Nyanasamvaro in 1974 and then under the Venerable Ajahn Chah in 1975. He came to the UK after 5 years in training monasteries in Thailand.

After several years at Cittaviveka Monastery in West Sussex, he moved to Devon where he led the community in establishing the Devon Vihara. In 1990 he became senior incumbent at Aruna Ratanagiri, Northumberland, UK.

Two books of collected talks by Ajahn Munindo called, A Gift of Well-being and Unexpected Freedom, are available for free distribution - see Aruna Publications 

Ajahn Sawaeng
From Ubon, Thailand, has been a monk since 1990. Most of this time has been spent in the monastery of Ajahn Anek, a senior disciple of Ajahn Chah. He come back to Aruna Ratanagiri in June 2009.

Ajahn Abhinando
From Hamburg, Germany and received upasampadā under Venerable Ajahn Sumedho in 1994. He joined the Sangha at Aruna Ratanagiri in May 2002.

Ajahn Puñño
From North Yorkshire, U.K. and received upasampadā under Venerable Ajahn Maha Amon in 1996.

Bhikkhu Hiriko
From Novo Mesto, Slovenia - he received full ordination (upasampadā) under Venerable Ajahn Sumedho in October 2006.

Bhikkhu Ñānamoli
From Smederevo, Serbia - he received full ordination (upasampadā) under Venerable Ajahn Sumedho in July 2007.

Bhikkhu Tejananda
From west of Paris, France - he received full ordination (upasampadā) under Sayadaw U Nyānawbātha in Myanmar in June 2008. He came to Harnham in May 2009 after living with his teacher Sayadaw U Tejāniya.

Sāmanera Visuddhi
From Cornwall, U.K. - he received novice ordination (pabbajjā) under Venerable Ajahn Munindo in May 2008.

Sāmanera Suññato
From Bonn, Germany - he received novice ordination (pabbajjā) under Venerable Ajahn Munindo in October 2008. (He is staying in Dhammapala monastery in Switzerland for 6 months)

Anagarika Michael
From Halle/Saale, Germany - took Anagarika precepts in September 2008 at Aruna Ratanagiri.

Anagarika Skipper
From Kissimmee, Florida, U.S.A. - took Anagarika precepts in March 2009 at Aruna Ratanagiri.

Anagarika Tomas
From Leeds, U.K. - took Anagarika precepts in March 2009 at Aruna Ratanagiri.
